Health insurance cuts will be costly

The following editorial appeared last week in the Patriot-News of Harrisburg.


It should be no surprise looking at the condition of our economy that a growing number of people have no health insurance. That is why 40,000 Pennsylvanians right now are getting insurance through a state-run program called adultBasic. The waiting list for the program has swelled to nearly a half-million adults, an indication of how much need there is for this type of low-cost insurance for people who have jobs
