Pa. low-income health plan is at an end

HARRISBURG, Pa.—Today is scheduled to be the last day of coverage for more than 40,000 Pennsylvania adults through a state-subsidized health insurance program called adultBasic that is a casualty of the state government's dire financial situation. Enrollees who are losing their coverage after Monday can call the state Department of Insurance's help line, 1-800-GO-BASIC, or go on its website for guidance on new coverage options.
