Collin County Commissioners approved a large $90 million spending cut, but opponents say it came at the expense of 30 retired county workers with very little notice and could cost them in the future in legal fees.
The Collin County Commissioners' Court removed a retiree medical insurance plan for retired county employees. Commissioners voted in a 3-2 vote at their regular meeting on Monday to remove the meeting and gave the 30 participating retirees six months to find a replacement.
